Live with intention

by Ralph Marston

You can’t be intentional about everything. You just don’t have enough time, or mental and emotional bandwidth.

Yet as much as you’re able, put intention into all areas of life. Intention empowers and enriches whatever it touches.

The food you eat tastes better, and is healthier, when you’re intentional about its selection and preparation. Experiences are more meaningful and memorable when you’ve had an intentional hand in making them happen.

Serendipity and spontaneity have their place. At the same time, it’s important to be more deeply invested in life through intention.

Be decisive and firm about what you intend to do and why, while also being flexible enough to adjust to changing situations. You absolutely can do both.

Live according to what you care most about and what you know is best. Be clear with yourself and others about what you’ve chosen to do, and you’re much more likely to get it done.
