Little things

by Ralph Marston

Little things add up. They combine to become big things quicker than you realize.

Positive little things add up, and there are plenty of ways you can use that to your advantage. Negative little things add up probably even faster, and will get you in trouble if you’re not careful.

Fortunately in both cases, little things are not particularly difficult to control. With a healthy helping of intention, the leverage of little things will work in your favor.

It doesn’t take much willpower to avoid one little temptation. When you manage to do that, praise yourself for it and vow to continue the pattern.

It’s also fairly easy to make one little positive effort. Take the time to notice how good it feels, and you’ll remember to repeat the behavior often.

Little things can become powerful, and yet they’re also readily accessible. Commit to handling the little things well, and you’re on your way to big success.
