Henceforth I ask not good fortune. I myself am good fortune.

Time to learn

by Ralph Marston

You can learn from the results of your own actions, and from the results that come to others. What is life teaching you today?

You can learn from what fascinates you, and from what repulses you. You can learn from those you disagree with, and from those who inspire you.

When life is moving excruciatingly slow, look more closely, and learn. When the world is overflowing with noise and confusion, back away, get some distance, and learn from what you perceive.

In each small success there’s something to be learned. In every disappointment, even more.

Pay attention, and every day you’ll know more than the day before. Be honest with yourself about all you observe and experience, and the power of truth will increasingly infuse your actions.

Wherever you are, whatever has happened, one thing is certain. It’s time to learn.
