Do something great

by Ralph Marston

Go ahead, do something great. It’s worth the time, it’s worth the trouble, it’s worth the risk.

Figure out what’s necessary, then put forth the effort. Plan the details of how you’ll get it done, and go to work.

Take the first step, learn from what happens. Continue moving toward the goal, adjusting and innovating along the way.

Make sure it’s important enough to you that you keep going. Pick something challenging enough to bring out the best in you.

Demonstrate to yourself and to others how capable, committed, persistent, and resilient you can be. Achievement is a priceless thing to experience and to observe, so give the world more of it.

Each day you benefit immensely from a whole lot of people who made the choice and the sacrifice to do something great. Now it’s your turn to repay the favor.
