I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor.

New goodness

by Ralph Marston

Make the time. Go to work on the problem.

You won’t make it less challenging by running away from it. You’ll only increase the effort and time necessary to deal with it.

Do yourself a big favor and avoid every temptation to procrastinate. Your effectiveness is much greater when you begin at the first minute rather than at the last minute.

Find genuine satisfaction in the focus and discipline of your good work. Appreciate the value that’s being produced with every effort you put forth.

Instead of being resentful of the price you must pay, be thankful for the rewards you’re creating. Commend yourself for seizing the opportunity to make a difference.

When there’s an issue to be addressed, a challenge to be overcome, a goal to be achieved, a dream to be reached, that’s when you excel. Do exactly that, and don’t stop before you bring new goodness to life.
