Create more than you consume

by Ralph Marston

How do you get ahead in all aspects of life? Create more than you consume.

In your career, finances, health, relationships, in intellectual and spiritual matters, make more than you take. Work toward a permanent surplus rather than a debilitating deficit.

Some consumption is necessary on a continuing basis. Yet too much consumption can trap you deep in dependency.

In contrast, creation, production, and achievement compel you to grow in strength. That boosts both your confidence and competence.

The act of creating expands the amount of value in your world. It multiplies your connection to positive possibilities.

You have a finite amount of time available each day. Wring the highest value from that time by using more of it to create, and less to consume.
