Set ego aside

Do you ever feel like something is holding you back, but you can’t pinpoint what it is? One likely possibility is ego.

Ego works around the clock to make everything about you. That can occasionally be useful, but more often it will inhibit your actions and contaminate your thinking.

Working from the perspective of ego introduces needless friction. It increases the potential for worry, confrontation, anger, misunderstanding, envy, anxiety and more.

Step back from that perspective. Remind yourself that it’s not all about you.

There’s enormous positive capability within you. Make the choice to set it free from the constraints of ego.

Your ego is a natural part of you, but that doesn’t mean it has to be in charge of everything in your life. When you have important work to do, set ego aside and enable your full potential to shine through.
