Courage is doing what you're afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you're scared.

Well defined goal

by Ralph Marston

Before the day begins, decide how it will end. Give yourself something positive and compelling to work toward.

The energy and discipline to do your work come from what you expect the work to yield. Define those expectations in detail, and keep them in front of you.

With a meaningful enough objective will come the strength to go after it. Clearly define your destination and you’ll know exactly what must be done to get there.

Make the upcoming hours productive by filling them ahead of time with purpose. Give your efforts maximum effectiveness by focusing them on a well defined goal.

The time is certain to pass no matter what you choose. Your best option is to make specific, purposeful use of it.

What exactly do you wish to see by the end of the day? Now is when you can begin to make sure that’s exactly what happens.
