Prepare in advance

Throughout history the high ground has always provided a strategic advantage. One reason is because from the high ground, you can see threats and opportunities coming from a long way off.

That provides ample time to prepare. Adequate preparation can give you a significant leg up when dealing with all sorts of unfolding events.

Many things are possible in the future, several things are probable, and a few things are almost certain. Consider what all those might be, and prepare yourself well for at least the most likely of them.

A few minutes of advance preparation can save you hours or days when what you’ve prepared for actually happens. A few dollars spent preparing can often prevent thousands of dollars of loss.

When you can clearly see what’s coming, do more than just setting yourself up to say I told you so. Make intelligent, practical preparations that you’ll be greatly thankful for when the future unfolds as you anticipated.

The best time to solve any problem is before it crops up. Prepare in advance, and rather than always playing catch up you’ll enable yourself to create new value, whatever the situation.
