Compelling vision

The benefit of any goal is not solely in what you get when you reach it. Much of the value is in what you do to achieve it.

Even if you never entirely fulfill the goal, it can nonetheless bring positive benefit to your life. Having something specific and desirable to look forward to, will pull you forward.

Give yourself a compelling vision for tomorrow, and you’ll get good work done today. A detailed plan enables you to take effective, appropriate actions.

What exactly is it that will pull you forward? What can you work toward that will empower you to overcome the distractions and excuses?

Find and focus on a meaningful endpoint. That will harness your time and energy into meaningful and productive efforts.

When you’re sure of where you intend to go, you’re much more likely to get there. Point yourself toward a great vision, one that has ample power to pull you forward.
