Embracing imperfection

by Ralph Marston

It’s okay for everything not to be perfect with your day, your situation, your life, your mood. In fact, it can be good.

In the imperfections are opportunities for improvement, for the satisfaction that comes with making something better than it was. The things that don’t work so well serve as reminders to more fully appreciate and utilize what does work.

By embracing imperfection you open yourself to a wider range of possibilities. Imperfection teaches, amuses, and motivates.

In the process of moving toward perfection, you must make your way through plenty of imperfection. By experiencing and dealing with what is wrong you can become skilled at getting things right.

Learn to be inspired by imperfection, and you’ll be able to be inspired by anything. Achieve excellence despite the imperfections, and grow stronger.

Life will often hand you imperfection. So respond by giving your best.
