The Daily Motivator message for Wisdom of your instincts Sometimes your initial instincts are way off. Much of the time, though, there’s truth in them. Often you don’t know how you know, but you know. Consider that your instincts have some merit, while also seeking to verify them. At the very least your initial instincts provide you with a reasonable starting point. So start with what you have and go honestly where it leads. Don’t be afraid to admit you’re wrong. At the same time, be willing to assert yourself when you know you’re right. There are many experiences you don’t remember that nonetheless inform your perceptions. That hidden knowledge expresses itself in your instincts. It’s good to be able to prove what you know, and it’s also useful to know what you can’t entirely prove. Though you can’t rely solely on them, do trust and respect the wisdom of your instincts. © 2025 Ralph S. Marston, Jr.From The Daily Motivator website at http://greatday.com/motivate/251206.html |
