Be proactive

You can’t eliminate all the demands life makes on you. What you can do is get out ahead of those demands.

When you earn money before you spend it, you avoid the high cost of being in debt. Similarly, finish a task before it needs to be done and you avoid the anxiety of rushing at the last minute.

It’s good to deal with problems when they arise. What’s even better is exercising the foresight to prevent problems from ever occurring.

If you find yourself wondering what to do, here’s a suggestion. Look ahead, anticipate what’s coming your way, and take action now to make sure it goes smoothly.

Rather than always playing catch up, use the present to put something beneficial into your future. Give maximum leverage to your actions by completing them as early as possible.

A reliable way to get ahead is to look ahead, plan ahead, and act ahead. Be proactive, and get time to work in your favor.
