The Daily Motivator message for Balance is key If you attempt nothing, you’ll achieve nothing. If you attempt everything, you’ll be working in so many different directions that you’re not likely to achieve much. The most successful strategy lies somewhere in the middle. Be ambitious with your intentions, but not ridiculous. When your schedule is empty, you’re missing out on a lot of opportunities to make good use of your time. When every second of your schedule is crammed full, you leave yourself no time to process it all. Balance is the key. Schedule plenty of meaningful, productive activity while also offering yourself plenty of time to rest and recover. It’s delusional to think that just because you wish for something, you’ll get it. It’s just as delusional to think that you can fulfill every desire by pursuing nonstop effort. Set ambitious goals, devote significant time and work to achieve them. And be sure to balance that with reasonable amounts of time to enjoy and find meaning in all the fruits of your labor. © 2025 Ralph S.
