The only man who is really free is the one who can turn down an invitation to dinner without giving an excuse.

Live it well

by Ralph Marston

The day is yours. Treat it with the respect it deserves, as the valuable opportunity it is.

Begin with gratitude for the good fortune of being able to live and to take action on this day. Then put that good fortune to good use.

As each moment arrives, let it find you adding value to your world. As each hour departs, carry forward from it something meaningful that will endure.

Refuse to waste even a fraction of the day on spite, anger, resentment, or anything else that will bring you down. Embrace the opportunity to create meaningful richness from whatever circumstances you encounter.

Seek out beauty, good people, great ideas, transformative energy, and situations where you can make a positive difference. Dive deeply and eagerly into the possibilities that permeate this day.

The day is yours and your business is to live it well. You have so many great things to do, and not a moment to waste.
